Born from Colorado ingenuity, the Orbiter is a breakthrough in front-end cargo mounts — a steerer-based gear mounting system that keeps your load stable, your handling light, and your handlebars as clear as the skies ahead.

Designed with field repairability and global adventure in mind, The Orbiter is built using global & bike industry-standard components throughout — making it as practical as it is revolutionary.

Features

What it does:

Unlike handlebar-mounted gear system/ bags, the Orbiter keeps your gear static and centered, like a cargo bike, but without the bulk. Your handlebars rotate freely around the load, saving you energy on every turn.

This means better performance in technical terrain, and a cockpit that stays clean and uncompromised.

Features:

  • The complete kit takes up only 1"/25.4mm of space beneath your stem

  • Rigid Anti-rotation posts bolt directly into adjustable positions bracing against top tubes & accommodating from 1"-2" top tube widths, keeping your gear motionless under turning.

  • Rubberized pads that bolt into support posts protect frame from any abrasion damage.

  • extra large cable port allows for cables to move freely without binding on bags or bars while turning.

  • Triangular ports offer both weight savings & are a plan for future products (steering column lock in the works!)

About

The Orbiter was born on the trail. Actually though.

While bikepacking through France’s Grandes Traversées du Jura, I had frustrating difficulty managing the onslaught of loose & steep terrain. Packed with “baby-head” rocks, descents were pretty surfy & fun, however climbing was a different story altogether.

Every time my front tire knocked a rock loose on a climb, the weight of my handlebar bag & rear rack would cause my bars to swing and bike to pivot sideways and backward, ultimately stalling my momentum and killing any chance for a recovery. More often than not, it meant walking the rest of the climb until finding a less steep restarting point.

After days of fighting this whole song and dance, I kept thinking: this wouldn’t happen on my cargo bike.

Then I thought: What if there was a rack that could bring that same stability to any bike? Something rugged, simple, and easy to maintain—without overcomplicating things.

After more than 20 iterations & 3 years of development from that original trail-side idea, I’m proud to present my finest invention:

The Orbiter
