After designing the Muddin’ Chop and Bottle PALS, I figured it only made sense to make a smaller bag using the same design. The Mini-Chop offers single-handed operation along with a separated internal pocket & a zippered outer pocket, adding a highly useful amount of storage-perfect for a phone or anything else you want quick access to. One of my favorite details is the vertical zipper, which makes it easy to see inside the bag while you’re riding - eliminating guesswork as to what you're grabbing.
I’ve also found that traditional handlebar bags can be tough to mount on flat (mountain-style) handlebars because of cable routing. When paired with the Bar PALS carrier, that problem is a thing of the past! If your cable situation is especially “swoopy,” the Mini-Chop’s low-profile design lets it sit cleanly behind the cables as well. On top of all all that, the Mini-Chop is built with the PALS/MOLLE system, making it directly compatible with any other gear that has the MOLLE/PALs grid such as overland carrier plates, car seat organizer panels, backpacks and of course all of my gear mounting systems!
