From bikepacking trips to quick grocery runs, cluttered handlebars from bag straps, cables, and poor light placements have always been a frustration for me. After logging over 12,000 commuter miles year after year, I asked a simple question: What if there was a way to clean up the cockpit, support real weight, and protect cables at the same time?

After 10 months of design and self-guided CNC machining, the answer I came up with was the Li-BAR-ator.

On long bikepacking trips, traditional handlebar rolls often crush cables, leading to premature cable and housing failure. Worse, those same cables can wear holes through waterproof bags, turning them into buckets. The Li-BAR-ator solves both problems with a rigid aluminum panel that protects cables and prevents bag abrasion.

Loaded handlebars also make running a front light nearly impossible. To fix this, the Li-BAR-ator includes side mounting points for the handlebar-diameter Mini-Peg attachments I make, creating elevated attachment points for lights and electronics to sit well above your bag.

For convenience & security, the entire panel is quick-detach—perfect for hostels, re-supply stops, or bad weather when you want to remove your bag quickly and safely. The system is built around globally available 20-series hammerhead T-studs, with slots compatible with both 20 and 40-series T-nuts. Every slot is a modular attachment point, letting you mount almost anything you can imagine.

By using standard, non-proprietary components, the Li-BAR-ator adds an often-overlooked layer of trip insurance. If something fails, replacements are easy & quick to find—keeping you rolling instead of waiting weeks for international shipments to come through.
