About

Believe it or not, the Burrito Bag was the very first bag I patterned!

My goal was simple: create a bag that could be opened and closed with one hand while riding.

At the time, I was commuting between Longmont and Boulder, Colorado via the Diagonal Highway 119 — a fast and dangerous stretch of road. Every time I wanted to change a song, grab a snack, or check my phone, I had to either take both hands off the bars to wrestle with my bag or pull over completely. Neither option felt acceptable.

So I decided to build something better.

After studying similar bags on the market, I noticed three big problems:

Most brands place the zipper too far forward, making it hard to see or reach inside while riding, and they rely on cheap coil zippers that are prone to failure. The third problem being that the bags were either too stiff or not stiff enough, making single handed operation and or access difficult.

I moved the zipper closer to the handlebars so you can look directly into the bag and access your gear with one hand — safely and confidently — while you’re still rolling.

And instead of a flimsy structure, each Burrito Bag is fully reinforced with rigid EVA foam, giving it real shape and long-term durability.

As for the zipper, I use YKK molded plastic tooth zipper - a much more durable zipper compared to the coil variety.

What you see in the photos is exactly how it looks on your bike — no stuffing, no tricks, no false impressions.

Just a clean, functional, purpose-built bag designed to make riding safer and more streamlined.
